Emergency Services

The New Jersey Equine Clinic offers 24 hour emergency services for the following types of equine conditions:

 

• Fractures

• Lacerations/wounds

• Septic joints and synovial structures

• Acute lameness

• Respiratory distress or upper airway obstructions

• Ophthalmic injuries and/or corneal ulcers

• Esophageal obstructions (choke)

 

In an effort to minimize the risk of nosocomial infections to our hospital population, we do not accept emergency colic or neonatal referrals to the clinic.
